CS6 Tip for the day: Do you have a panto that will need to be trimmed and you want to see how to place in the boundary of the whole quilt? Do a quick mock up.

1. Place the needle of your machine at the top left corner of your quilt.

2. Pick the pattern "geometric square" from your free Statler patterns.

3. Change the measurements of the square to match the measurements of your quilt.

4. Place the square pattern on the screen by choosing "repeat pattern" mode making sure " TopLeftCorner" is chosen for pattern placement position.

5.Convert the square pattern to a boundary.

6.Place the panto using "repeat patterns" with desired number of repeats and rows, also making sure " TopLeftCorner" is chosen for pattern placement position. You will now see how the patterns will look over your entire quilt.

7. Adjust as necessary.

8. Trim as needed.
