About Eddycrest.

Eddycrest Design & Build was established by Adam Eddy in 2008 after graduating from Ryerson University for Industrial Engineering.  His passion for woodworking coupled with his analytic mentality set in motion the creation of practical, organized and fun pieces. His disdain for inferior artificial materials in furniture ensures that Eddycrest will not sacrifice the longevity of the products for the easy cheap alternatives. The introduction of CNC technology in the manufacturing process has provided the outlet to build consistently and accurately allowing Eddycrest to continue building and growing at there shop located on the Eddy family farm.

Eddycrest specializes in creating sewing furniture using quality materials.  All products were developed from the ground up with the inputs of the users. His mother, Deb Eddy, of Country Patchworks was the first user of the Eddycrest Sewing Furniture because nothing available seemed to be designed with the quilter and seamstress in mind. There was simply not enough practical storage and it was too much effort to set up.  When you have 5 minutes, you should be able to jump right into action instead of setting up your sewing area and hunting for all your notions, threads and tools . The suggestions of Deb, her employees, customers and friends created the foundation of Eddycrest Sewing Furniture from what Adam had imagined would be just one Sewing table to "get rid of the mess".  The furniture is located in much of Canada now and Eddycrest is excited to introduce free shipping to the Majority of Canadians! Eddycrest is currently working with Quilt Shop owners to initiate wholesaling in your local Independent shops. Great Quilt shops are always welcome to express their interest as a future location (Please contact us by email for information).

Crokinole is an important part of the heritage of Southern Ontario. Growing up in Woodstock, Adam and his family would often play Crokinole with their great Grandmother right into her late 90's. It was a natural fit when Adam with his brother Blake began developing and tweaking the long unchanged board game to be great! The use of detailed engraving, as well as the integration of crokinole chip storage and a scoreboard give a fit and finish that makes a game that is great looking on the wall or while you're playing.
