The BERNINA 700 PRO is an embroidery-only machine for personalization, decorative stitching and quilting in the hoop. This package includes the Embroidery Module L with Smart Drive Technology (SDT). A 7-inch colour touchscreen, 254 mm of space to the right of the needle and advanced design-placement tools support both small details and larger compositions.
Position a design for the project
The Pinpoint Laser shows the needle entry point in every needle position. Use 2-Point Placement to position a design, or define four fabric points and proportionally fit or morph the design to that area with 4-Point Placement. Virtual Positioning lets you check exact stitch points before the stitchout, helping you align motifs with fabric marks or existing details.
Edit directly on the touchscreen
Choose from 500 built-in embroidery designs and 25 alphabets, with a large monogram set for personalization. Group and ungroup designs, rearrange layers, use undo/redo and align lettering across multiple lines. Shape Designer repeats motifs into formations such as circles, squares and hearts. Endless Embroidery helps repeat and align continuous borders, while the Color Wheel supports changes to the design’s colour scheme.
Explore quilting in the hoop
The 76 Customizable Quilt Designs use the BQM format, with scaling and stitches-per-inch adjustments. The maximum embroidery area is 400 × 210 mm with a suitable optional hoop; the included Small, Medium and Large Oval hoops serve different project sizes. Free-arm embroidery supports tubular items such as sleeves and pant legs.
Stay connected and reduce interruptions
WiFi supports design transfer to and from optional BERNINA Embroidery Software 9. The BERNINA Stitchout App monitors embroidery progress on a compatible smartphone. Automatic needle threading supports standard embroidery needles from size 70, and programmable jump-stitch cutting reduces manual trimming. The front-loading Jumbo Bobbin can be accessed without removing the hoop.

The B700 PRO performs machine embroidery and computerized quilting in the hoop. Larger and specialty hoops, embroidery software and other optional accessories are separate purchases unless expressly listed in the selected offer. Choose a stabilizer, needle and thread for the fabric and design; the built-in Creative Consultant provides guidance at the machine.
