BERNINA Patchwork Foot #97 helps keep straight seams consistent when piecing quilt blocks on a 9 mm BERNINA sewing machine. Its sole is shaped for the machine's feed system, while three side notches give clear reference points as fabric moves under the foot.
For precise patchwork piecing
- Use the side notches to guide 1/8 in (3 mm), 1/4 in (6 mm) and 1/3 in (7.5 mm) seam allowances.
- Suited to straight-stitch piecing and topstitching.
- An optional movable seam guide can provide an additional guide for straight 1/4 in seams; check whether it is supplied with the specific foot package.
Compatibility: For BERNINA machines with a maximum stitch width of 9 mm. This is Foot #97, not Dual Feed Foot #97D. BERNINA recommends using a straight-stitch plate with this foot. Confirm the fit for your machine before ordering.
